BML Munjal University appoints Prof. Ashok Kapoor as Dean Corporate Engagement

Chandigarh, 5th August 2015: BML Munjal University founded by the Hero Group, today announced the appointment of Prof. Ashok Kapoor as Dean Corporate Engagement. With over 37 years of professional experience in industry and academics, Professor Kapoor will be responsible for People Development Programmes (PDPs), Placement Committee and Practice School activities, in addition to creating International and Domestic Continuing Education Opportunities.

Prof. holds a B.E. (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from BITS, Pilani and a Masters in Management Studies with Distinctions from the same Institute. His industry experience includes companies of very high repute like Voltas, Eicher Limited etc. where he worked in the areas of internal consulting, corporate materials, marketing, marketing services, training, corporate communications, corporate strategy and new products.


In the past 24 years, he has been actively involved in academics & training with All India Management Association (AIMA), ARM-TREE and MDI. Prof. Kapoor is very active in Social Service and runs a Trust named StMARG and mentors another one named VNAMR which work in the area of Social Entrepreneurship, Value Based Education, Health Related Projects and Generating Resources for other NGOs.

Widely travelled in India and abroad Prof. Kapoor is a keen sportsman and also writes poetry both in Hindi and English.
