Star Sports Young Heroes presented by Parle in association with IDBI Federal Life Insurance unveils India's top 16 under-15 footballers for training i
Chandigarh, 25th January, 2016: In order to identify young talent, the country's largest student direct contact programme from the very grassroots through scouting program, Young Heroes unveiled the best 16 Indian players for further training in Spain under specialized youth coaches of Real Madrid and the Spanish Federation. These 16 selected boys will travel to Spain on 15th April, 2016 for a training module for 10 days. Mr. Jamshid Nassiri, Ex- Iranian Footballer and Head Mentor, Star Sports Young Heroes was present to share his expert advice and encourage the boys on their journey ahead.
Young Heroes promoted by Star Sports along with Parle Products and IDBI Federal life Insurance is aimed to provide guidance and a platform to under-15 footballers from over 650 schools across 15 cities in India. Young Heroes aims to widen the base of the Indian Football pyramid by identifying young talent from the Country's largest student direct contact programme from the very grassroots and provide guidance for the next step towards elite football. The tournament activation programme which is being conducted by Highlife Management reached out to about 420,000 students and from the tournament population of about 6,500 footballers.
