Secularism and Socialism can only lead to transformation of India said Akhilesh Singh Yadav at the inauguration of Hindustan Shikhar Samagam in Luckno
September 26, 2015: Hindustan Media Ventures Limited hosted its first edition of Hindustan Shikhar Samagam today in Lucknow at Hotel Taj Vivanta. The theme of the conclave was Hindustan Ki Tarakki Ka Naya Daur which was naugurated by Honorable Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Shri Akhilesh Singh Yadav.
On the occasion, Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav spoke on the "Transformation of the largest state - priorities & challenges" and emphasized on how Uttar Pradesh has witnessed great transformation over time. "Our government has put the development of the state on fast tracks. For the first time in the state, our party (SP) brought the solar power policy which has attracted many investors", Akhilesh Yadav said.
In his views, secularism and socialism will only lead to transformation of the nation with sustainable growth prospects. "Land Acquisition process in UP has been undertaken in the interest of the farmers. Samajwadi Party has always supported the farmers", he added.
Talking about the latest developments in the city, he said, "We are doing development and progressive politics. Lucknow- Agra expressway would be ready by 2017. International Cricket stadium will be completed by 2016 which has total capacity of 50,000 pax and the government has invested Rs. 400 crore in this project. Soon there would also be a football stadium. "
Speaking on the issue of reservation, Akhilesh Yadav said, "Our constitution approves reservation and it is very important for the upliftment of underprivileged section of the society."
