Air India offers enhanced free check-in baggage on domestic sectors
Chandigarh, 11 August, 2015: Air India passengers travelling in Economy Class on its domestic sectors will now get an enhanced free check-in baggage allowance of 25 kgs making it the only airline in the country to do so. This offer is valid from Aug 12, 2015 to Feb 7, 2016, across all fare levels of Economy Class. Additionally, infants will now get a free baggage allowance of 10 kgs.
Passengers who have booked before Aug 12, 2015, will also get the benefit of the increased allowance.
The free baggage allowance of the international sector will be applicable, for passengers travelling on Air India domestic sectors and connecting to Air India international sectors and vice versa.
Passengers travelling on Alliance Air flights and connecting to Air India flights and vice versa, will also be eligible for this offer. However, this offer will not be available for passengers travelling exclusively on Alliance Air flights.
