Vodafone announces Selfie Star contest for college students of Punjab

Chandigarh, August 03, 2015: Welcoming new students to college life and welcoming back old students for another year of fun and learning, Vodafone India, one of India's leading telecom service providers has come up with the Vodafone "Selfie Star" contest, an interesting Campus-Connect Programme for college student across Punjab,



Vodafone "Selfie Star", the interesting contest launched by Vodafone in 300 colleges across Punjab, is giving the winners of this contest a chance to become the 'stars' of their colleges. To participate in the contest, students need to click their Selfie and upload it on their personal Facebook page using the hash-tag #vodafonecampus. Vodafone will shortlist the top 10 Selfies which receive the maximum likes and these participants will be declared the winners of the Vodafone "Selfie Star" contest. On winning the contest, the "Selfie Star" winners will be featured on hoardings and posters across college campuses in Punjab and also win a Vodafone-branded "Goody Bag" each.

The contest merges the Selfie craze of the youth with their aspirations of being famous and popular by giving them the chance to become the 'Selfie Star'."



The contest has been rolled-on ground and is open till 28th Aug 2015. Making the contest even more exciting, Vodafone has not limited the contest to Vodafone subscribers only. Students using services of any telecom service provider or even those with no active connection are free to participate in the Vodafone "Selfie Star" contest and stand a chance to become a star.
