Chandigarh, :-In the World Cadet and Junior Kickboxing Competition 2014 organized by Italy Kickboxing Federation in Italy, Faridabad based Shivangi Budhakoti represented India and won a bronze medal.

While stating this today, Haryana Kickboxing Association, President, Mr Anand Mohan Sharan said that Shivangi Budhakoti had put up a great performance and entered the quarter finals. She bagged a bronze medal whereas Haryana’s another player Rahul Shyokand also put up a good show but could not won any medal. International Referee Santosh Kumar Aggarwal was also included in the jury members of World Kickboxing Competition, he added.

National Kickboxing Federation and Haryana State Kickboxing Association, General Secretary, Santosh Kumar Aggarwal said that the Indian Kickboxing Team was led by the President of Haryana Kickboxing Association and Chief Patron of National Kickboxing Federation, Mr Anand Mohan Sharan.

The 28-member team which participated in the competition included 15 players, seven referees and three trainers and three officers. In all the Indian team won one silver and three bronze medals, he added.
